Homemade Pumpkin Puree

Don't worry if you don't have an oven. This easy Homemade Pumpkin Puree can be made quickly by simply steaming your pumpkin and blending until silky and smooth!

Ingredients

  • 4-5 cups pumpkin peeled and cubed
  • Water

Instructions

  • Place the cubed pumpkin into a steamer basket or a rice cooker with about an inch of water in the bottom. Steam the pumpkin until it is soft and breaks apart when pierced with a fork.
  • Transfer the steamed pumpkin into a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
  • Store in the fridge for 2-3 days or freeze for a couple months!

Notes

Freeze in ice cubes for super convenient freezing and thawing. If you freeze in containers or bags, make sure and label with the measurement.
