Ingredients

  • ½ cup oats
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 ½ cups liquid water or non-dairy milk
  • ½ cup Homemade Pumpkin Puree
  • ½-1 tablespoon maple syrup or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan stir together the oats, chia seeds and liquid. Heat on medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until mostly thickened.
  • Lower the head and stir in the remaining ingredients, excluding the toppings, and continue to heat until the oats have reached your desired thickness.
  • Pour into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings.
