Homemade Date Paste Recipe

Made completely with fruit, this Homemade Date Paste is the perfect way healthfully sweeten your baked goods!

Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups pitted dates loosely packed
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Bring the dates and water to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Once the water boils, reduce the heat to simmer and allow the dates to cook and soften for about 10 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and allow the dates and water to cool for a few minutes. Then carefully transfer everything in the saucepan to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
