Homemade Chocolate Pecan Butter {Dairy-Free}

Rich pecans blended until smooth and mixed with melted chocolate. Could there be a better combination for a nut butter spread? This dairy-free Homemade Chocolate Pecan Butter is nutty, creamy and full of rich, chocolate flavor!

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups pecan halves
  • ¼ cup dairy free chocolate chips melted

Instructions

  • In a food processor, process the pecans for about 10 minutes until smooth and creamy. You will have to stop the processor often to scrape down the side of the bowl.
  • While your processor is running, melt the chocolate chips by microwaving them in a small bowl. Start with 30 seconds and keep microwaving in 20 second intervals, stirring often, until melted.
  • Once the pecans have turned into butter, add in the melted chocolate and process for minute until fully combined.
  • Pour into an airtight container.

Notes

Store at room temperature or in the fridge. If stored in the fridge it will harden, but you can leave it out at room temperature to soften before using.
