Place 1 cup of raisins in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Allow to soak for one or more hours until plump and very soft.
In a high speed blender or food processor, process 2 of the small green apples until a smooth puree forms. Drain the soaked raisins and add them to the apple puree and blend until smooth.
In a large bowl mix together the oatmeal, chopped almonds, and cinnamon. Finely chop the remaining green apple and add it into the bowl of oats and mix to combine.
Pour the apple raisin puree into the bowl of oats and stir everything together until the wet ingredients are evenly distributed and all the oats are coated in the apple raisin mixture.
Using your hands, drop small clusters of the oatmeal mixture onto the silicone mats of your dehydrator.
Dehydrate the granola for about 8 hours at 110 °F or until dry and crunchy. Add the remaining ½ cup raisins to the finished product and store the finished granola in an airtight container.
Notes
I do not include the soaking time of the raisins into the prep time.
