Ingredients

Instructions

  • Add the shredded coconut, raw almonds and cacao powder to a food processor and process until a fine meal forms.
  • Add in the remaining ingredients and process until a sticky dough forms, stopping to scrap down the sides of the bowl if necessary. You'll know the dough is done when it sticks together when you pinch it between your fingers.
  • Roll the dough into balls and store in the fridge.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

If you're looking for a higher protein snack, you can always make energy bites using protein powder like I do in these Peanut Butter Protein Balls.
Even in this Almond Joy Brownie Bite Recipe, you could use chocolate protein powder instead of the cacao/cocoa powder and that would add a few more grams of protein.
