    The Easiest Watermelon Smoothie

This recipe is also featured in the following vegan recipe roundups:

    • Vegan Summer Smoothies, Juices and Iced Drinks
    • Vegan Summer Recipes
    • Vegan Summer Smoothies

I really wanted to have the entire content of this post be, "MAKE THIS SMOOTHIE!! Then I'd just share the recipe (if you can even call this a recipe) and leave it at that. I feel as if the color, juiciness, sweetness and simplicity of this smoothie speaks for itself and I want everyone to make it.

    It's that good!

This Watermelon Smoothie really is The Easiest Watermelon Smoothie. I'm not claiming to have invented this smoothie. Duh. But it has become one of Brett and my favorite warm weather drinks and I wanted to share it with you all incase you've never tried it before. My obsession with this drink began a couple of years ago when Brett and I were making our first trip to China together to decide which city we wanted to live in. We would often order fresh Watermelon Smoothies (or juice) with our breakfast because they were so incredibly cheap and refreshing. Ever since that trip a Watermelon Smoothie or juice has always been my go-to fruit drink.

Now that spring has arrived here, the price of watermelon has dropped significantly. I bought one the other day for $1.50!

    HOLLA!!

Basically, Brett and I are going to be making this Watermelon Smoothie often. Why wouldn't we when it requires just one ingredient (bet you can't guess...) and a few minutes to prepare. If you haven't tried making your own Watermelon Smoothie, I really hope you can give it a try soon. You'll love it, I'm sure! If you give it a try, let me know your thoughts or take a picture and tag #theconscientiouseater on Instagram so I can see your creation!

      Hi There,

My name is Sally and I am writing because I’m the Content Manager for a small senior advice site. Recently, we released an eye opening guide highlighting how to eat better by creating better habits. This includes information on the importance of stopping bad eating habits, learning to cook your own meals and six other valuable tips.

It has proven especially pertinent because 29-61% of elderly people admitted to hospitals show signs of malnutrition. This poor diet is causing and exacerbating other medical conditions. I know you are busy, but you can check out the article here: https://www.senioradvisor.com/blog/2017/02/7-tips-on-developing-better-eating-habits-in-your-senior-years/

You are busy, so I’ll keep this quick. I found theconscientiouseater.comrecently, and you reminded me of our guide. Having read https://theconscientiouseater.com/easiest-watermelon-smoothie/ I felt this is a subject you would like to share. Of course, while it’s not good to copy the whole piece in its entirety, I am more than happy to write a brief introduction or summary for you to put on your website.

Please let me know what you think!

      Best Regards,
      Sally

        Hello Sally,

Thanks so much for contacting me and all that you're doing to improve people's health. Because my blog mostly focuses on living overseas as a vegan, I am going to have to decline your offer as I'd like to keep my content focused on a certain topic/demographic. I wish you and your team all the best!

        Faith

Watermelon smoothies are so tasty! Forgot they existed until I saw your post haha - probably because I live in a cold country - it's such a refreshing summery drink! Unfortunately my boyfriend can't stand watermelon - I'll just have to eat --> drink it all by myself once I can get my hands on some again!

Watermelon are actually one of the few fruits I don't really like, but the other day I had some that was SO good. I always want to like it because it's so refreshing and always looks so good in smoothies! But I just can't ;(
      So pretty though!!
