This Father’s Day is super special to me, because Brett is a dad now! He was technically a father last year as well, but we weren’t quite aware of that at the time. Harper sure lucked out with Brett. It’s been so fun to see Brett grow in love for Harper everyday. He cares for her so well and I learn so much from his more relaxed parenting style everyday. Brett and Harper are both such snugglers too, so it’s fun to see them bond in that way. Harper isn’t quite sure of Brett’s whiskers though, so we’ll see how that pans out.
I sure lucked out in the father department as well. My Dad is one of a kind. He’s hard working. Determined. Involved in our lives. Thoughtful. Full of integrity and respected. He and my mom are actually celebrating their 40th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY in Israel right now doing an archaeological dig. How cool is that?!
I’m sure Father’s Day is also a sad day for many of you who may have lost your father or don’t have a father who is loving or present. That’s not the way things should be and I hope you are surrounded by people who love you this weekend!
And I hope this post sharing Vegan Father’s Day Breakfast Recipes is helpful for any of you who are trying to plan a fun breakfast or brunch for your Father or husband this upcoming weekend. These vegan recipes are some of my favorites from the blog and I hope you can make one or two of them to share with your dad and family members! I’m sure for some of you this is your first Father’s Day eating a plant based diet or vegan diet, but don’t let that keep you from eating some yummy breakfast foods!
